The Interinstitutional Center of the Albanian Academic Network (RASH), an institution of higher education, announces a vacancy for the position of “System Administrator”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides troubleshooting and technical support for physical/virtual Linux based servers.
• Installs and configures software/hardware according to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborates with system/network providers and engineers to resolve issues (e.g. those related to HW/SW).
• Continuously monitors resource usage, optimizing as needed.
• Provides operational practices to establish and maintain security and integrity controls.
• Recommends innovations (where necessary) that automate various tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with Linux based and Windows Server systems.
• Knowledge of Storage systems.
• Knowledge of Virtualization systems.
• Knowledge of Web Server systems.
• Knowledge of database systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.

Degree:

Computer Science, Informatics or Electronics
