EBSCO, the leading provider of electronic libraries, in collaboration with the Albanian Academic Network and the Ministry of Education and Sports of Albania organized, on October 11, 2022, the event “U-Library 2020-23: the Digital Library for universities” for Higher Education & research institutions in Albania. This event was held at the premises of the "Hilton Garden Inn Tirana" Hotel.

Vice Minister for Education and Research Mrs. Albana Tole welcomed the organizers and the participants in the event. Mr. Doğan Küsmüş – EBSCO Regional Manager, started this discussion appreciating the cooperation with RASH for the creation of "U-Library" during the period 2020-23. Further, Dr. Arjan Xhelaj RASH’s CEO spoke about the work done by RASH for the implementation of U-Library, after were discussed for topics that included future EBSCO projects in Albania. Various stakeholders, such as scientific researchers, university lecturers, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports of Albania, and other interest groups, were included in discussions with EBSCO and RASH representatives.

At the end of this meeting, EBSCO Training Manager, Uğurcan Özkan, held an informative session on literature search techniques for effective research experience.
