Eduroam (education roaming) enables students, researchers and staff of participating institutions Internet access when visiting other institutions abroad (at university campuses) simply by opening their laptop or phone.

The European Eduroam Service is a large-scale cooperation between hundreds of institutions, most of which have and operate the infrastructure of this service.

Eduroam allows any user from a participating country to eduroam to have access to the network at any institution related to eduroam. Depending on the local policies of the institutions visited, eduroam participants may also have additional available resources. User credentials are kept safe because eduroam does not share them with the site you are visiting.
 

Where can we use eduroam?
If you are walking through campus or spending time studying or working in another research and education institution, eduroam gives you uninterrupted internet connection.

More than 10,000 hotspots of Eduroam are available at universities, research centers, academies, many schools and other research and education institutions in more than 89 countries worldwide. As eduroam grows, more and more hotspots appear in other places, such as libraries, museums and public spaces, such as railway stations and cafeterias.

RASH and eduroam
The Education Service is functional in the premises of the RASH offices. RASH is projecting the implementation of this service in all public universities and other research institutions, which are part of the telematic network.
