RASH offers cloud computing resources (IaaS) to public univeristies like: Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking etc.

​In general, there are three cloud computing characteristics:​ The back-end of the application (especially hardware) which is completely managed by RASH.​ A user only pays for services used (memory, processing time and bandwidth, etc.) and the services are scalable.​ ​The capability provided to the consumer is to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources where the consumer is able to deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications.​ ​Many cloud computing advancements are closely related to virtualization.​ The ability to pay on demand and scale quickly and being able to pool resources that may be divided among multiple clients.
